To me it has a good amount of resistance on input and whatever the change, I do find both the stick and buttons to feel better than the ones on the Legends Ultimate. Our rep at Atgames told us the only physical difference is a new button top. The micro switches are apparently the same, but this control panel feels and sounds much closer to that of a custom fight stick I’d design and build. I immediately resonated with the click from this panel a lot more than I did with the Legends Ultimate. I own multiple Arcade1Up cabs as well as the Atgames Legends Ultimate machine, so I do have some other home arcades to compare these switches to. After that, you’re ready to open up some tables to smack balls around. The potential snafu is that you kind of have to pop that panel into place with a little bit of force. You simply unscrew and remove the side and front bars, unhook the panel and replace it with the new panel. Installation of the control panel was rather simple. Kids of all ages and even senior citizens all understand the universal application of joystick and buttons laid out next to one another. With a joystick and buttons, this is as touch and go as it can get, which is exactly how any arcade unit should be like. Navigating through the OS the way Atgames originally intended for was just annoying to explain to new players every single time. Quite honestly, I’d even suggest that Atgames just increase the price of new units by $200 and include it built in. My Windows-10 computer boots directly to PinballY and I really only play VPX-Tables.Įdited by Tesla, 29 March 2023 - 04:56 AM.Without any suspense required, I can easily say that this control panel improves the user experience of the Legends Pinball machine tremendously. Nowdays, I just boot directly to OTG-Mode. At first, I played Farsight's The Pinball Arcade (with Arcooda Addon and all the good Williams/Bally Tables). I can't say I've played in Native-Mode since. Supposedly, the Zaccaria tables are good too, but I never bought any. Pretty sure Farsight did those for AtGames. They are fun and Rescue-911 was our favorite. I played the 22 Gottlieb games when I first got it. Yeah, I disconnected my logo's light-strip a while back.Ģ. Not sure why someone would have them both, but I thought it was interesting.ġ. I also saw someone say that if you happen to have both the AtGames Legends and Legends Micro, that any tables purchased could be downloaded on each machine without having to buy twice. People who bought the bigger model mention they like the AtGames logo isn't lit in the Legends Micro (no reflections like it supposedly happens with the ALP).Ģ. Personally I like the small footprint, but would love if the backbox (or playfield) could be just a tad bigger. I am not trying to promote this item, just curious what people here would say that have way more experience about this topic than me. My apologies if this sounds like an advertisement. Weighs about 30lbs and comes with no legs, but it comes fitted with the holes compatible with Williams and Stern/Sega Legs. The backbox display can also be used with an optional board (sold separately). Has a USB On-the-go port and a HDMI port on the back so you can plug another PC to use the playfield. Can connect to AtGames store to buy more tables. It houses a 1080p, 15" (38cm) playfield and a 8" (20.3cm) back display, 3 inch (7.6 mm) speakers, no plunger and some basic haptic feedback. Was wondering what are the opinions from vpforums members about this mini form factor virtual pinball cabinet.
